Hi, I'm Chris, currently a Product Manager, and a long-time software builder and IndieHacker.
I'm working on a really fun and exciting new business called Vocal (check it out). We're building next-gen virtual office software for remote teams. I may even be bold enough to call it Metaverse 1.0 for business.
I just went into private beta last week and received an overwhelming amount of feedback and engagement from the IH community. You guys are awesome - thank you for the support!
I'm looking for a co-founder/builder who's interested in working on Vocal and who is excited to learn, grow, and build with me. We use:
If you know Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, Webflow - basically any of the above technologies - and are interested in working on this really fun business, let me know! I'd love to chat :).
hello @prattcmp
i'm a frontend engineer and I'm interested in your idea
can you send me some details here ? mohamedsobhy292@gmil.com
Hi @prattcmp, I checked your platform Vocal and it really looks cool. As someone who works in the Video Conferencing industry, I would like to learn more about
your product and help you with it. Feel free to reach out to me at sweta.khot@itechnotion.com.
Good luck with your product!👍
Interesting.
On you home page you say this:
"Virtual offices with video and voice rooms, for remote teams with young professionals. Free for a limited time."
Are you positioning this product specifically for younger folk?
Yes! We find that younger people are struggling the most with remote work and are most likely to benefit from Vocal.
Of course, anyone of any age can use Vocal :), and we also sell B2B to managers and senior leaders.
Makes sense :)
I'm a 50-year-old Marketer... so you're kinda alienating me even though you have an interesting product.
Don't position yourself for a younger audience, which you are doing with that statement.
Address them via content and campaigns. Talking about their specific challenges.
Position yourself as 'innovative' and / or a new way of doing things Vs the old, inefficient and tired approach. Legacy is a good word too to describe this.
This is great feedback! I like the word “legacy” too. Want to chat further?
Sure :)
