Building vStudent – A Marketplace for Students to Find Rooms and Sell Items

Hi everyone,

I’m Ashish and I’m building vStudent.

Students often struggle to find rooms, roommates, and affordable second-hand items near their college. Most solutions are scattered across WhatsApp groups or Facebook posts, which makes it difficult and time-consuming.

vStudent aims to solve this problem by creating a simple marketplace where students can:

• Find rooms near their college

• Find roommates

• Buy and sell student items like books, furniture, and electronics

The first version of the platform is now live.

I’m currently working on improving the platform and adding more listings. I’d love to hear feedback from the Indie Hackers community.
