Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
I’m excited to share Weely — a platform that makes it super easy to shorten links, generate branded URLs, and create dynamic QR codes for marketing, events, or campaigns.
With Weely, you can:
Shorten and brand your URLs
Generate dynamic QR codes for offline & online campaigns
Track real-time clicks and engagement
We built it because managing campaigns across multiple tools was messy and inefficient. Our users — marketers, small businesses, and creators — love having a single tool to simplify links and QR codes while getting actionable insights.
Our current traction:
10K+ users globally
100K+ QR codes generated in 150+ countries
Features like custom domains, A/B redirects, and analytics
Feedback I’d love from the Indie Hackers community:
What’s your biggest pain point with URL shorteners or QR code generators?
Which feature would make you use a platform like Weely daily?
Your insights will help us prioritize improvements!

Congrats on the traction — 10K+ users and global usage is impressive.
One pain point I’ve noticed with URL shorteners is managing context. For example, when links are shared with clients as part of business workflows (invoices, reports, project updates), having branded and trustworthy links makes a big difference in professionalism and click-through rates.
Dynamic QR codes are especially useful for offline-to-online workflows. I’ve seen contractors and service providers use QR codes in documents and printed materials to connect clients with additional details or proof of work.
Curious — are most of your users marketers, or are you also seeing adoption from service-based businesses?
Congrats on the 10k users, that’s huge traction! To answer your question about pain points: my biggest issue with QR codes is usually 'dead links' after a campaign ends. The fact that you offer dynamic QR codes is the killer feature here. For daily use, I’d love to see a 'Bulk Create' feature via CSV or API for when I'm running dozens of different social ads at once. Keep it up!
Interesting platform! 👏
I really like the ability to create short links and dynamic QR codes with real-time analytics.
One thing I think could improve the user experience and interface: there's a lot of information and options at first glance, and it can be a bit overwhelming to understand right away.
Perhaps a starter guide or a more simplified dashboard would help new users quickly get oriented.
Personally, I really appreciate the real-time tracking and the ability to customize domains and QR codes.
A feature that could make Weely even more useful would be to group links and QR codes by campaign, so you can have an aggregated view of key metrics.
10K users is strong ! What was the #1 channel that got your first 500 users?
Congrats on the traction — 10K users in this space isn’t easy 👏
Curious how you’re differentiating long-term from tools like Bitly or other QR platforms that already offer branding + analytics?
Is the wedge deeper analytics, pricing, simplicity, or a specific niche (e.g. events, local businesses, creators)?
Feels like in link tools, distribution and positioning matter more than features — so I’d be interested in what’s driving most of your 10K users right now.
