Built a 100% free, signup-free 1099 tax engine out of sheer frustration

Hey hackers,

I wanted to share my latest project, 1099Savvy (https://1099savvy.vercel.app), built entirely out of frustration with legacy tax software.

Instead of building a complex backend with user databases, I decided to make this 100% privacy-first and serverless. The entire 2026 50-state progressive tax matrix runs right in the user's browser using vanilla JavaScript/React logic.

Why I built it this way:

To prove that extreme user goodwill (no signup, no email capturing) can still drive traffic and interest.

To keep operational costs near zero while providing lightning-fast reactive UI updates.

We are officially launching on Product Hunt soon, but I wanted to get the community's eyes on it first. I'd love your honest feedback on the chart reactivity, the UI, or how I can optimize the SEO meta tags before the big push!
