Built a Chrome extension that explains PubMed abstracts in plain language — in 7 languages

I made a small tool for researchers, med students, and anyone who browses PubMed and doesn't want to decode dense academic abstracts: PubMed AI Summary.

What it does:

A single click adds an AI-generated plain-language summary right below any PubMed abstract — both on search results pages and individual article pages. It uses Claude (Haiku model) to explain the key findings in 2–3 clear sentences.
