I've been building Plexto (plexto.tools) solo — a free collection of 251+ online tools: JSON formatters, image/PDF converters, calculators, AI writing helpers, live market trackers, security tools, and more. The one rule I held to across all of them: no account, no usage caps, no email walls. Just open a tool and use it.
It launched on Product Hunt a while back, and I've kept adding tools and a daily blog since. The honest part: traffic hasn't picked up the way I expected from content alone — it's a brand-new domain in a genuinely crowded space (JSON formatters and password generators have dozens of established competitors each), so I've been shifting effort toward directory listings and backlinks instead of just posting more.
Would love feedback from this community — both on specific tools (there's a subnet calculator, a position-size calculator for traders, a full loan amortization schedule, among others) and on what's actually worked for you to get a new tool site in front of the right people.
