Built a new service for SaaS founders to grow their users 🔥

Hey guys,

Recently I've noticed several SaaS founders on twitter complaining how difficult it is to promote their SaaS & acquire new users.

We've been building our startup launchpedia in the past 6 months and one thing that helped us get the most traffic - was through lead magnets (Ebooks, templates & directories)

So we decided to build Lead Magnets as a service to help SaaS founders acquire new users.

But before launching it, We wanted to validate this service idea. So we started reaching out to founders on twitter & the founders of PodSqueeze were the first to try it out.

What started as a one-off discussion, has now become a long term project where we're building 3 lead magnets that will help grow Podsqueeze.

After getting to see the response from Podsqueeze,

We decided to go all in & launch our service. We got a new domain, setup the landing page this weekend,

And Today we're taking it live.

It's called GrowthChefs. For a one-time fee (Starting at $99), we ideate, research and build a highly converting lead magnet you can use to get new users for your SaaS.

I would be interested to know what you think of this service & do you find it helpful to grow your SaaS?

You can check out the landing page here: http://growthchefs.co/

I think this is interesting! I may be in the minority in this community, but I'm not a developer and I have zero design capabilities. I have been working on an Excel lead magnet but I know that is asking a lot of the customers - most would prefer something a little easier to digest. I would be interested in jumpstarting the process by outsourcing.

Cool man. Thanks for scheduling a call with us. Just sent you an email requesting some information from your end. Can you please check that?

There are a few services that can do that like:
    https://www.beacon.by/
    https://www.visme.co/
    They also offer distribution platform.

But of course this is just technology. If you guys offer a marketing team as a service that is a different matter. Perhaps offering this via upwork or fiverr is the way to go.

Yeah you're right. We're not a technology or app like the ones you shared. Rather, We offer a done - for-you Lead Magnet service for SaaS founders. This includes ideation, research and building a lead magnet for a SaaS from scratch and help them market it as well to get new users.

Could be worth it... I think though that it would be worth more if it was accompanied with a strategy to deliver it. Even more if it was a subscription to create magnets and deliver them regularly.

Thanks for your feedback Tzahi. We're actually working on handling the strategy & delivery as well. We haven't mentioned it because we're still in validation phase. If you are interested in it, you can book a free call with us & we'll discuss:

I really love lead magnets and see their value. However, at least for me, creating a lead magnet is easy while distributing the lead magnet is the real issue. So for me, a lead magnet service without distribution is not a complete service. What do you think? @sathesh95

Thanks for your honest feedback ilkek 😃

Coming from a digital marketing background, we're planning to handle distributing the lead magnet as well. Since we're in validation phase, we haven't mentioned that on our landing page. If you're interested, just book a free call with us. We would love to work something out: https://growthchefs.co/

Can you elaborate on how you help with distribution? For example I have a SaaS/productized service that targets e-commerce sellers in a specific part of the world. Would you be able to help distribute the lead magnets to that target audience?

Hi! I am writing this based on information I read in books, so I have no practice in this.
If I understand it correctly, you guys will create a lead magnet for my business which later I can use to gather more customers. But doesn't this destroy my creditability? It is okay to get help in an ebook for example, but to not even touch it? You are just using other's content as a hook. Someone who takes that hook will think that YOU have the knowledge that is in that ebook. They will think you are professional in X domain, because you even have an ebook about it.
What do you think about this?

So we don't create content completely on our own for the ebook. We work with founders to understand their niche on our calls, and spend hours on extensively researching in niche forums and communities based around the topic of the ebook. We only add actionable tips in ebook which we can support with real life examples.

That's how we're able to deliver highly converting ebooks even if we're not an expert in the niche. I hope this clarifies your doubt.

I would rather buy a course on how you do research. Do you have an SOP for how you do it or is it ad hoc?

Good lead magnets take a TON of time and energy to create. It'd be great to know if you're working on the right thing.

        1. 1

Hi Devin. We do our research extensively on niche communities, expert forums and by directly getting inputs from the founder of the SaaS. And we only add actionable steps & tips in our ebook that can be supported by real life examples or results that people were able to get.

That's how we're able to build good lead magnets. Hope this helps.

        That helped. Thank you.
