Built a personalized news digest tool, live for a few weeks, still $0 revenue

I shipped EdgeDigest about three weeks ago. It pulls the stuff you actually care about into one short daily email so you're not opening nine tabs before your first coffee. I built it because I was doing that by hand every morning and got tired of it.

It works. That part I'm confident about. I use it every day and it's the reason I stopped checking Twitter at 7am.

Revenue is zero. Not "slow start" zero, actual zero. A handful of signups, most of them people I know, and I'm pretty sure nobody outside that circle has found it on purpose.

So I'm asking the people here who got past this part. What actually got you your first ten real users? Not the growth-hack version, the boring true version. Did you post in places, did you email strangers one at a time, did you sit in a Discord for two months being helpful? I'd rather hear something unglamorous that worked than another thread about distribution in the abstract.

Also happy to take it on the chin if the product itself is the problem. If you look at the landing page and immediately think "why would I pay for this", please say that. I'd rather find out now.

Anyway, here it is if you want to poke at it: https://edge-digest.vercel.app?utm_source=indiehackers&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=edgedigest_202607
