Built a Technical SEO + Page Speed Tool Over a Weekend — Got 80 Signups in 3 Days

A few weeks ago I got frustrated bouncing between 5 different tools just to debug basic technical SEO and performance issues on my sites.

One tool for Core Web Vitals.
Another for indexing checks.
Another for technical audits.
Another for page speed diagnostics.

So I decided to build something simpler for myself over a weekend.

The idea was straightforward:

analyze page speed
surface Core Web Vitals issues
detect technical SEO problems
make the reports understandable without digging through massive audit logs

At first it was just a personal utility for my own projects.

Then I shared it in an SEO forum.

Unexpectedly, it picked up fast:

80 signups in 3 days
mostly freelancers and small agency owners
zero paid ads
all organic traffic

The most interesting part wasn’t even the growth — it was seeing which features people actually cared about.

The biggest usage spikes came from:

Core Web Vitals breakdowns
render-blocking resource detection
indexing diagnostics
mobile performance reports
technical SEO monitoring

One thing I’ve learned building in the SEO space:
people don’t want more data anymore.

They want:

clear problems
actionable fixes
faster debugging
fewer dashboards

There’s still a huge gap between “SEO audit tools” and tools developers actually enjoy using.

That’s what I’m trying to close with this project.

Still early, still rough around the edges, but it’s validating to see people using something that started as a weekend experiment.
