Built a Tool to Solve My Biggest Pain in Lead Generation – Here’s What I Learned 🚀

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

Like many of you, I’ve wasted countless hours on crappy lead generation tools. You know the type: they give you a basic list of businesses, and then leave you to do the real work—finding contact info, verifying data, researching key details… before you can even send a single email.

This was killing my productivity, so I decided to scratch my own itch.

Introducing Cora Intelligence – AI-Powered Lead Gen That Actually Saves Time

I built Cora Intelligence to flip the lead gen process on its head.

Instead of just giving you leads, Cora gives you fully verified leads with custom data you request, like:

• Business owner names

• Pricing info

• Location-specific insights

• And anything else—just ask the AI in plain language

No more manual research. No more endless Google searches. Just targeted data you can actually use, generated in seconds.

The Build: Lessons & Stack 💻

Solo-built with Firebase, Next.js, and OpenAI’s API

• Focused heavily on speed and UX—I wanted users to go from idea to lead in <30 seconds

• First MVP was scrappy but functional—launched fast, got early feedback, iterated

Biggest lesson? People care more about accuracy and time saved than about “cool features.” I killed a bunch of extras and focused purely on delivering verified, useful leads fast.

Freemium Launch – Feedback Welcome 🎯

Cora is live now with a freemium model—no credit card required.

I’d love to get your feedback, especially from those doing outbound sales, lead research, or working in niche industries.
