I’ve spent the past year building a cold outreach system from scratch — campaign logic, warmup rotation, quota control, domain setup, spam prevention, batching, and reporting.
It works. I’ve used it in real campaigns, helped clients land leads, and learned more about email deliverability than I ever wanted to.
But lately I’ve realized something hard:
I don’t want to run this kind of business.
I’m not burned out. I’m not giving up. I just know I don’t want to be the salesperson, the account manager, and the infrastructure lead all at once.
I love building systems. I’m proud of what I built. But to turn it into something sustainable, I’d need either a partner to run sales — or a shift in model entirely.
No big announcement here. Just sharing where I’m at.
Curious how others here handled moments like this — when what you built works... but maybe not for you.
