Built an AI nutrition tracker because CalAI felt too expensive and too inaccurate

I built MetricSync after trying CalAI and feeling like I was paying more while still fixing too many misses manually.

What I focused on:

  • cheaper than CalAI
  • better accuracy on real meals
  • more features around tracking and nutrition feedback
  • 3 day free trial so people can test it without commitment

The product is here: https://www.metricsync.download

If you have built in fitness or nutrition, I would love blunt feedback on the positioning. The hardest part so far has not been building the model. It has been earning trust fast enough that people will actually switch from what they already use.
