Built an AI Smart Locker with Face Recognition Using Raspberry Pi

We recently developed an AI-powered smart locker system using Raspberry Pi and face recognition technology for secure access control and smart automation.

The system uses a camera module and embedded AI to identify authorized users and automatically unlock the locker without physical keys or passwords. We also integrated real-time monitoring, access logging, and IoT-based control features to improve security and usability. This system can detect users easily. In this system we can add locks like patterns or alphanumeric or face lock devices etc.

Tech Used
*Raspberry Pi
*Face Recognition AI
*Camera Module
*Relay-based locking system
*Python
*IoT connectivity

Features
*Contactless authentication
*AI-based face detection
*Smart access control
*Real-time monitoring
*Automated locking/unlocking
*Embedded edge AI processing

Building reliable face recognition on embedded hardware while keeping response time fast was one of the biggest challenges during development.
