In India, the biodata of grooms and brides is still often shared as low-res photos, badly formatted PDFs, or even just text on WhatsApp.
While it works sometimes, nothing beats a clean, well-designed biodata that makes a strong first impression.
I decided to fix this.
Using AI coding assistants like Cursor, I built MatrimonyBio.com in under a week — a simple tool to create beautiful, shareable marriage biodatas.
So far, 50 people have used it. The feedback has been positive, but now comes the hard part: distribution.
I’m realising that building was the quick sprint, and getting it in front of the right audience is the real marathon.
Right now, my biggest questions are:
How do I reach more people who are actively in the marriage process?
What’s the best way to approach SEO for something that’s culturally niche?
Are there any under-the-radar distribution channels for products like this?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s tackled SEO or growth for niche, culturally specific products.
