🎯 Built FocusFlow because I couldn't stop getting distracted

Hey IH community!

Just shipped focusflows.eu after months of battling my own attention span.

The problem: I'd sit down to code or work on important stuff, then somehow end up on Twitter, YouTube, or random Wikipedia pages for hours. Every productivity app I tried felt like punishment—either too rigid or too easy to bypass.

What I built: FocusFlow makes focusing feel rewarding instead of restrictive. It's a web app that:

  • Blocks distracting sites during work hours (but intelligently, not aggressively)

  • Tracks your focus sessions with satisfying progress visuals

  • Manages tasks in one clean dashboard

  • Works instantly in your browser—no downloads needed

The twist: Instead of just blocking stuff, it gamifies staying focused. You actually want to keep your streak going.

Been using it myself for weeks and finally feel like I have control over my attention again. Built it as a web app because I wanted something that just works, everywhere, immediately.

Questions for the community:

  • How do you handle digital distractions while working?

  • Would love feedback if anyone tries it out

  • Any features you'd want to see?

Try it at focusflows.eu and let me know what you think!

Building in public has been wild—happy to share more about the journey if anyone's interested.
