👋 Built GiniGigs: Hire freelancers in 60 sec (10K downloads)

Hi,
I'm Dinaagaren, solo founder of GiniGigs.

The story:
Last year, hiring on Upwork took me 4 hours. I thought
"This is dumb. We have instant everything else."

Built GiniGigs:

  • Mobile-first freelancing
  • No proposals, just chat → HireNow → pay
  • Pre-vetted international freelancers

Current stats:

  • 10,000 downloads
  • 46 freelancers
  • 4.8★ rating
  • Zero marketing budget

Tech: Flutter + Node.js + MongoDB

Challenge: Growing client-side now (have freelancers,
need more clients posting jobs)

Would love feedback from fellow builders!

Wow impressive! Can I ask what avenues you used to get to 10K downloads? Any learnings would be great!

Thanks! It was mostly organic, marketing-led growth. We focused on a very clear positioning (hire freelancers fast), optimized App Store listing, encouraged early users to share, and leaned into communities where our target users already hang out. We also iterated messaging based on feedback to double down on what resonated. No paid ads yet—biggest learning was that sharp positioning + distribution beats broad marketing early on

"10k downloads with zero marketing is impressive, Dinaagaren! The 'HireNow' speed is definitely a gap in the market.

My platform, Startupily, is visited by thousands of founders monthly who are constantly looking for ways to scale—exactly the clients GiniGigs needs. If you're interested in a featured placement to get your app in front of our executive audience, shoot me a message. Would love to help you bridge that client-side gap!"

Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate you spotting the HireNow gap—that’s exactly the pain we’re tackling. Startupily sounds interesting, especially with a founder-focused audience. Happy to learn more—feel free to DM the details.
