Current metrics:
Spent most of the day cleaning up the MRRSaver dashboard. The churn metrics were technically correct but completely useless for actual decision-making. You know when your data is accurate but tells no story? Fixed that.
Then I built something meta: a content creation tool for myself. I input what I did that day, my mood, and plans for tomorrow. It generates first drafts for X, Reddit, LinkedIn, IH. Not perfect, but saves me 2+ hours of staring at blank screens.
Funny thing: I'm still destroyed from Hyrox 3 days ago (legs feel like concrete) but I'm in a great mood and shipping code anyway. Sometimes physical and mental states are completely disconnected.
Building solo means you work through everything — sore muscles, bad days, uncertainty. The work doesn't pause for your body to recover.
Anyone else notice their best work sometimes happens when they physically feel terrible? Or am I just weird about pushing through discomfort?
Question: What tools have you built for yourself that ended up being useful for others?
