Built my own content automation tool while my legs recover from Hyrox

Current metrics:

  • 3500 impressions on SEO content
  • 398 followers on X (so close to 400!)
  • Working on MRRSaver dashboard improvements

Yesterday's work

Spent most of the day cleaning up the MRRSaver dashboard. The churn metrics were technically correct but completely useless for actual decision-making. You know when your data is accurate but tells no story? Fixed that.

Then I built something meta: a content creation tool for myself. I input what I did that day, my mood, and plans for tomorrow. It generates first drafts for X, Reddit, LinkedIn, IH. Not perfect, but saves me 2+ hours of staring at blank screens.

What's working

  • SEO content is gaining traction — 3500 impressions feels solid for early days
  • X growth is steady — almost at 400 followers with decent engagement
  • Building tools for myself — this content generator might be useful for other solo founders

Today's focus

  • Applying to Stripe Marketplace (could be solid distribution)
  • Planning LinkedIn content strategy (been ignoring it, probably missing audience)
  • Continuing outreach but with shorter, more personal messages

The grind reality

Funny thing: I'm still destroyed from Hyrox 3 days ago (legs feel like concrete) but I'm in a great mood and shipping code anyway. Sometimes physical and mental states are completely disconnected.

Building solo means you work through everything — sore muscles, bad days, uncertainty. The work doesn't pause for your body to recover.

Anyone else notice their best work sometimes happens when they physically feel terrible? Or am I just weird about pushing through discomfort?

Question: What tools have you built for yourself that ended up being useful for others?
