Built this after dealing with constant bot hits
I built BlockABot to solve a problem I was dealing with myself.
I run a few sites across different servers, and bots and scanners were constantly hitting them. Managing blocks and rules separately on each one got messy fast, and I wanted something more centralized and consistent.
So I built a lightweight system that lets me track and block bad traffic from one place, and share that across all my sites.
From there, it turned into a small shared threat network where detected bad IPs and behavior can help protect other users too.
It’s still early, but it’s been working well for me so far.
If anyone here deals with bot traffic and wants to try it out or give feedback, I’d really appreciate it. Happy to offer early access while I keep building it out.
