Bumblebee Expands Motifect AI Motion Workflows with Studios

Collaborations will evaluate AI-generated 3D motion across game and animation workflows.

Seoul, South Korea · July 22, 2026

Bumblebee Inc. today announced that Watt Studio, Northstar Interactive Studios, and Lumen Forge Games have joined its Motifect motion collaboration program, an initiative focused on evaluating AI-generated 3D character motion in game and animation production workflows. The collaborations will examine how text-based motion generation can support faster prototyping, iteration, and export-ready animation pipelines for teams working with real-time 3D characters.

Motifect is an AI-powered 3D motion generation service that turns text prompts into character animation assets for production use. The web-based platform is designed to help creators and studios generate motion in the browser and export files for common 3D tools, game engines, and virtual character systems. Supported export formats include FBX, BVH, GLB, and VRMA, allowing generated animations to move into workflows for Blender, Maya, Unity, Unreal Engine, and VTubing environments.

The Three Studio Partners

  • Watt Studio — Belgrade-based game development and animation studio with experience in character-driven production, visual development, and motion capture.
  • Northstar Interactive Studios — London-based studio focused on stylized 3D narrative games and dialogue-led character experiences.
  • Lumen Forge Games — Berlin-based game studio working with Unreal Engine-based character production pipelines for action and role-playing projects.

Each studio will evaluate Motifect from a different production perspective, including scene blocking, character gestures, gameplay prototyping, and export-ready motion workflows.

Structured Around Workflow Validation

The program is structured around practical workflow validation rather than a single title announcement. The participating studios will assess how generated motion can be reviewed, revised, and transferred into existing creative pipelines. Bumblebee will collect feedback on:

  • Motion consistency
  • File handling
  • Timing
  • Prompt interpretation
  • Scene readability

The companies are not disclosing financial terms or project-specific production details at this stage.

Why Motion Production Is a Bottleneck

Motion production remains a significant constraint for many 3D content teams. Traditional workflows often depend on dedicated animators, motion capture sessions, manual cleanup, or outsourced production capacity.

Motifect is being developed to give teams a faster way to generate first-pass motion, compare alternatives, and move usable animation data into familiar tools without requiring a full motion capture setup for every iteration.

These studio collaborations are intended to keep Motifect grounded in real production needs. The goal is not to remove artistic control from animation, but to make motion easier to explore before teams commit time and resources to final production. By working with studios that understand character movement in practical workflows, Bumblebee can improve Motifect around the requirements of creators, developers, and production teams.

Platform Growth and Next Steps

The collaborations follow Motifect's recent expansion as a web-based AI motion generation service for creators, game developers, animation teams, virtual character studios, and interactive content companies. The platform has grown to more than 100,000 users and is being evaluated by studio partners through commercial discussions, production tests, and API integration workflows. Several partners are also exploring how generated motion assets can support internal tools, character systems, and platform-level animation features.

Bumblebee plans to use feedback from Watt Studio, Northstar Interactive Studios, Lumen Forge Games, and other production partners to refine Motifect's motion quality, export reliability, prompt interpretation, and compatibility with production tools. Future development areas include:

  • Broader motion categories
  • Improved character compatibility
  • More consistent animation output
  • Workflows that make generated motion easier to review, edit, and deploy

As games, virtual creators, AI companions, and interactive media continue to rely on expressive 3D characters, Bumblebee expects motion generation to become a more practical layer in the 3D content production stack.
