Business email at custom domain, are there better options than GSuite?

If you are solo, you can continue using Gmail for free with https://forwardemail.net - unlimited domains and easy to switch between accounts.

Zoho mail - Haven't used but heard its pretty good alternative for GSuite.

Zoho Mail is alright but you can only have one domain name through it for free (and I'm personally not a huge fan of its UI).

I've also used ImprovMX which works pretty well, but that's technically just setting up an email alias.

In my opinion, though, there's nothing better than G Suite, and a few bucks a month seems like a small price to pay for the benefits that you get with it.

I know Microsoft is not the coolest option but at 5 USD / month it is cheaper than almost everything else, and it includes OneDrive for Business and Teams so this is tremendous value.

As others have said, Zoho is better/cheaper solution.

But a lesser known free solution is using your personal gmail acc and using the 'send as' feature to send from your domain.

If you don't need more than your domain and email, then use Amazon Route53 (Domain) and Amazon SES (Simple Email Service), that's what I do for my personal email adress and it's the cheapest and easiest way for me, even with multiple email adresses.

This question gets asked way too often (I'm guilty too) and I think Zoho is good enough to get started. It has a free tier that works great. I'm using Zoho myself
