Business Modeling Software for New Ideas?

Hi guys,

Have seen a lot of different ideas being tested, growth hacks, etc., but I am curious if anyone uses any strategy/forecasting tools to model their ideas, such as: projections, margins, break-even points, etc.

I do quite a few business model canvases (BMC) at the linked blog. There is a software product built around the BMC called Strategyzer, but it is expensive and only ok in terms of utility IMO.

Can IH members recommend any interesting software tools or hacks using existing products for modeling new businesses? Cheers.
