Business plans.....

Do people actually pay for a business plan to be written for them?
Unless you're getting outside funding, I don't find a detailed business plan to be too helpful. I typically just use a custom version of this 1-page business plan from The $100 Startup (Chris Guillebeau) to make sure we all stay focused on our mission.
