Business Process to SaaS - Tool Recommendations?

Hi everyone! I have a business process that I'd like to codify, for two purposes:

  1. Provide a way for my clients to gain insight into the process and have a visual understanding where their project is in the workflow (ie a dashboard).

  2. I think other people may be interested in purchasing this process (as a service) and use it themselves.

I'm looking for something that will help me get this into an MVP with the least amount of work - but still provide user authentication, payment processing, etc.

I get the sense that possibly people are using Notion for this kind of implementation, but I'm concerned about selling a template and giving away some of my 'secret sauce'. Is that a valid concern, or can I hide logic in a Notion template?

Any suggestions?

    Hey Kurt, not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but a super low lift solution you could consider is simply making an Airtable Interface.

    You can customize a dashboard, pulling date from a specified Airtable base, determine which fields are editable, share the interface with specific emails and grant different sets of permissions.

    We've used this in the past to allow stakeholders to monitor progress on specific tasks without giving them access to the full base or the ability to make unwanted changes.

      Hi @JohnKrueger, I just came across softr. A no-code tool for building apps and portals on top of airtable. They even have payment processing and SEO.

      Thanks, John! I admit, I've never played around with Airtable. Maybe this will be a great time to check it out and see what's available.

      I'm still following too. 😂 Have you tried anything similar, @javadiagrams? I've actually been looking closer at Notion (since I posted this question) and I'm seeing some interesting examples from people who are using it for workflows. I just haven't yet put together - in my mind - if it's possible to put security around it, and maybe even a more custom UI.
