Businesses Don't Need Freelancers, They Need a Team!

My experience running a software service agency for 4 years has shown me that clients value more than just technical expertise. They need a team to tackle various challenges.

I've worked across industries like healthcare, energy, and tech, assembling teams to deliver successful products for each client. This led me to question the best approach: simply providing resources, or building a team to solve problems collaboratively. I chose the latter.

Last month, I launched a new concept: a software team studio (https://teams.sofyrus.com). This shift in focus goes beyond terminology. Our studio offers three core services delivered by a dedicated team:

  1. Project Discovery ($1,000)
  2. MVP Development ($9,000)
  3. Custom Software Development (Custom Plans)

Since launch, we've attracted two clients who appreciate our team-based approach (similar to Sofyrus Teams). This success leads me to a question for the community:

Should I completely focus on serving startups, or should I continue building my teams while exploring productized services?
