Businesses for non-programmers
Hey, I am a 17 year old student entering a very demanding undergraduate program this fall. However, I want to have a side business to financially support me a little bit. I have no programming experience and the undergraduate program I am going into is also non-tech, and I see an abundance of tech startups which initially began as side businesses, but not many businesses which don't require coding. So, could someone more experienced guide me a bit, because I am a bit lost at what to start as my side business.

Kudos on your ambition! There's not many 17-year-olds that are already worried about starting their own business.
The No-Code movement is starting to pick up steam. I've used https://www.makerpad.co/ in the past with a lot of success. Their whole thing is "Create software without writing code."
If that piques your interest, I'd recommend trying to think about solving one of your own problems that you face on a daily/weekly basis. It doesn't have to be some complicated, world-changing idea. It could be as simple as your own take on how to best manage all the work/responsibilities of a 17-year-old undergraduate student.
Spend a little time creating your solution to that problem. Find people with the same problem and see if they're willing to pay for it. Easier said than done, I know. Each piece of that puzzle will probably take a few months.

First, don’t worry. Not being able to code is not a huge issue to start a project (many tools out there to help non tech entrepreneurs).
Secondly, wanting to launch a side business for money is good (who doesn’t want that?) but actually willing to solve a problem people have is much better.
As my advice, I would tell you to look for a problem you and other people have and to analyse how they are mitigating this problem.
Then you will be able to reflect on solutions to better solve this problem.
Lastly, when you are at this point, you must ask for validation (is the problem real? Is your solution effective? Are people willing to pay for your solution).
