Buying one sunscreen took me hours

Hey Community,

TL;DR: Tool that summarizes real conversation on Reddit threads, and creators/influencer videos and recommends products based on skin type and other factors.

Is it me and my wife only, or has it become tough to buy some skincare products?

So, it's around 104 Fahrenheit (40 Celcius) in the place I live, and my wife wanted to buy sunscreen for me. I have very dry skin and I am an outdoorsy person so anything that would stay long would work. It took us around 2 hours to finalize the sunscreen and the process looked like

  1. Go to YouTube and Google - search for products for my skin type.
  2. Go through top influencer videos. Figure out if it is paid or not.
  3. Finalize a couple of products
  4. Go to amazon. Read reviews and if it passes - buy or go for other products.

I am planning to build an AI tool around it that summarizes videos and Reddit conversations (a bit of identification to check if it is paid or not) while not killing the joy of finding the right product.

Is this something you can relate to? Feedback would be appreciated.
