ByteThirst launched on Product Hunt today
ByteThirst went live on Product Hunt today. It estimates QueryWeight, the
water, energy, and CO₂ cost of every AI prompt.
The problem: none of the major AI chat interface make the
environmental cost of what you're doing visible. If you've ever wondered
what 100 debugging prompts actually add up to, there was no way
to find out.
What it does: the Chrome Browser Extension automatically monitors for interactions with 14 AI platforms and provides estimates to the users. The CLI does the same in the IDE for Claude Code, Codex, etc.
I would love honest feedback and Product Hunt reviews, to improve the product and continue to expand the roadmap of what we can support.
