How can Google Analytics make your website faster?!

You can use your GA data to predict the next page a user will visit, and then preload that page! My Saas can do this for you. I've been working on it for a couple of months now! :) I'm looking for feedback please!

Make your page about the sales benefits of loading pages fast. No business owner gives a shit about forecasting the future. Say something along the lines of:

"Grow your SaaS sales and reduce page churn with Nextpageai"

I saw that I might click on it. Reason being: You aren't helping people forecast the future. That doesn't show any benefit. The benefit is more people will stay on your site and thus, buy from you.

You also will run into a problem I ran into trying to sell AI software where you're dependent on data. Determining who you want to sell to, and what that thresh hold of data needed will help a ton.

I.e. if you get less than 1,000 uniques a month, we can't help you.

You're going to want some type of form. Check out how neilpatel.com does it. Where someone comes to your site and they tell you how much traffic they get and you say whether or not your software can help.

Charge something like 99, 249, 499 with an enterprise option. Look at Hiten Shah/Neil Patel. They own an SEO keyword tool I can't remember what its called.

But they charge based on # of uniques a month. In theory you'd be making more money if your site had 100k visitors a month vs 1000.

The reality is this tool will be flashy and unique and cool and you will get a ton of people to install the snippet and you won't be able to help them (bc 99.99% of people on this website won't get near enough traffic). You're better off keeping it closed form, and only letting serious companies in.

If you get the right type of companies in you will make a shit load of money. I'd reason maybe 10k mrr in a few months (maybe 60 days after getting these things above and driving traffic).

You might run into a few issues of getting the right size company into your funnel and that can be solved by iterating a few times of what content/seo/forums/etc you are doing your marketing.

But if you get someone like Baremetrics or maybe Gumroad where they already have crossed the revenue problem and are looking to have their problems solved in the funnel you should be able to sell this well.

Happy to help more. I've built/sold saas products for a few years now. Got some experience in early days of growth.

I've updated the copy, what do you think now? :) https://nextpage.ai/

I love it. This has the potential to be a really really big product. I'd love to help more + find a way to contribute. email if you'd like to talk shop. burner.192669f8@tryninja.io <= that is a real email that forwards to my personal. Not trolling you :)

Thanks @raleigh_user, you have helped me see this in a completely different light. I'm working on rewriting the copy and thinking about how I can target higher value customers. I'll let you know once I've had another try at describing this idea!

AFAIK there are some other tools out there that via a piece of javascript does link prefetching (assumably by traversing all the links on a given page). What is the advantage of tieing this into Google Analytics?

    1. 1

You're correct, there are solutions for prefetching a page when you hover over a link, or prefetching all the links which are currently visible, but this approach prefetches the page mostly likely to be visited next based on real data (your analytics), so it doesnt make assumptions.

      1. 1

        Ok.

How about creating a demo page?

Say a dog-slow wordpress blog; running with your solution enabled and without it.

        1. 1

Yeah, i'm still working on a way to show success measurements from this :)

  3. 1

Doesn't chrome pre-fetch already kinda take care of that?

    1. 1

Yeah this uses the prefetch resource hint, and takes care of the hard part, which is actually knowing what to prefetch!

I think the number one question that your landing page makes me ask myself - Is this something that Google Analytics kinda already does and you've built a simple abstraction on top of that OR is this something quite unique and powerful that you have built out?

I'm a dev so my first response is usually "I wonder If I can do this myself"

Currently, your page isn't convincing me that your product isin't something I could do myself

Maybe I'm not the right market for this though.

Other than that, I love the page!

Thank you for the feedback @Dannyaziz97, i really appreciate it!

As a developer, you absolutely could implement something like this yourself, but of course my product is here to make it quicker and easier for you, and for those without development experience.

I query the Google Analytics API, look at your traffic, apply a Markov chain algorithm, and provide predictions for which page people are most likely to visit next. I then package that up into a service which automatically preloads the next page. All you need to do is drop my code snippet on your page.

I've working rewriting the landing page to describe the product from a different angle (trying to describe what this thing does is proving to be difficult, is that a sign of imminent failure?!), I hope you can take another look and sharing your thoughts when its updated :)

        Sure would love to!

I've updated the copy and would appreciate it if you could take another look: https://nextpage.ai/ thanks! :)

Much better. I don't agree with displaying pinterest, walmart and the others - You give off the impression that they are your customers but are they? Makes me feel a bit sceptical

            1. 2

Yeah good call, i dont want to trick people into thinking they are my customers, but I'm kinda using them as social proof for what can happen if you improve the performance of your website. I've changed the section title to "Better Performance = More Conversions" and increased the size of the data source text, to make it more obvious they are case studies taken from elsewhere. Thanks again!
