Friday Edition: Daily Stand Up!
#daily-stand-up
Why?
That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.
To join in:
01 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of March.
02 Share what you accomplished yesterday.
03 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.
04 Comment on at least one fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in.
Optional:
05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.
Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!
Unfortunately, I didn't achieve my February goals, so I'm moving those to March.

@everyone, Good luck with your goals for March!
@Harlem, Happy birthday
Thanks for the birthday wishes... (Grinning) And as for not making February goals... you're in good company! Here's to crushing our epics in March!
Your goals sound a lot like mine from last month - landing page/video. I find it very easy to procrastinate on those :)
I'm an Android user so can't try out the app, a little video would be cool to get an idea of how it works.
Checked out your website — based on the screenshots you posted it looks like your product would be handy for introverts like me to nurture my friendships :)
Is that how you would describe your target market?
For everyone who wants to improve their networking skills. Can be used for families, friends, in a professional setting or for any other community.
Thanks for your support!
01: EPIC
Design, build and deploy a small web app which helps small business owners and start-ups to respond to support queries.
02: YESTERDAY
Figured out Webpack file loader issue — it took longer than expected but I can reuse the configuration on other projects. Built and styled half the page.
03: TODAY
Planning to wrap up page mark-up and styling, then move on to building the data structure and logic behind the app.
Cool. Are you going to have a WIP to show off any time soon? :)
In the next few days — looking to get some of the logic in there first so it's a somewhat useful prototype :) Thanks for reading!

Happy Birthday @Harlem 🎂🎈🎉Party like a rockstar 💃🏾
WIP Mindful
side note
Mini-pause on Mindful during 1st week, so I can:
1. Separate my founder problems from the business in order to make better decisions.
2. Make my job hunting less stressful.
Thanks for the B-Day kudos! And kudos to you for your divide and conquer approach! Smart!
Ah to be 30 again like @Harlem...

You posted your standup as a reply to harlem's :-P
That's cool that you have a weekly drive that gives plenty of testing time! Are you thinking of adding bitcoin or something, or by virtual currency, do you mean the conversion of $ to tokens spent in-app?
Side note: Not sure if this should be a high priority use case, but I use google's Project Fi cell service, which charges $10/gb of data. So Download/auto-download new episodes is important to me :)
I joined the iOS beta. Good luck! Some feedback from a first-time user:
Feedback
Update your app icon to follow the guidelines. Make it more attractive to first-time users and to spark interest when users see your App Store page
Don't ask the user for permission (Speech and location) when you haven't introduced the app. Why should I give permission if I don't even know what the app will do? How will the app help me?
Same for an account. Don't make me create an account in order to continue. At this stage, I haven't even seen the app yet.
Account creation. The text is very small on iPhone8, and I expect it to be even smaller on iPhone X. Suggest to use the standard UI components to show forms.
I can't use the keyboard to switch input fields
Input data is very strange. When selecting the field, it shows another input field above the keyboard to input the data. Please use standard components.
No feedback when successfully created an account
