Call to Devs! -- Looking to create a few prototype apps!

Hi.

In case this is the wrong place for this, I'm apologizing up front. I'm looking to create a few basic prototype apps for a test project. I'm looking for a dev(s) looking for a side gig -- nothing really complex.

Thought I'd post here, before heading to fivver.

The 1st basic app will be a test booksite. Site should be similar to the bncollege/bkstr apps for college textbooks. The idea is to show a user a bit of the initial functionality so a user could decide if they would actually use the site.

The 2nd prototype would be a marketing/informational kind of site for users to use to build out the community of other users.

If you have any questions, fire them off to me.

thanks

      Hi Naeily

Thanks for the reply. Can you give me a bit of information on who you are, what you're looking for? Are you US or worldwide? What's your fee structure?

For the book prototype, I'm looking to have an underlying database of college class data/book data. If this works, I'm going to need to have a web/mobile app to allow potential users to get a feel for what I'm creating.

The initial goal of the project is to have a system that kind of operates like a groupon for textbooks where I provide the content as cheaply as possible.

      thanks

Hey Bruce! My name is Amí and I run https://peachweb.com. I'm in New Mexico, USA. And fees are usually 50% at the beginning, 50% upon completion, before transfer of final files. But, the payment structure can be flexible. What you describe sounds very doable. I'd like set up a time to chat about specifics. Feel free to add an appointment to my calendar here: https://calendly.com/aminaeily/30

          Hi Ami.

Too a quick look at your site You're running a design operation. Not sure my extremely limited budget would fit for what you guys do.

This is a self funded operation. Ie, from my limited pool of funds.

Have you guys/you worked with pure startups/ideas?

I would assume you work with operations that are higher up the food chain.

This probably won't be a portfolio piece, but we might be able to work something out as far as budget.

Why don't you try to build them yourself using no code tools? Neither idea seems too complex. Could be a fun way to learn new tools etc!
