Came up with an idea that alleviates a pain point I discovered in the past two weeks

Came out with an idea would like to know what do you think and if you can think on a way of developing it or market it even better! Let's just brainstorm it together.

So I have been doing a lot of research for the past two weeks on different businesses and realised that to find information online its very hard. Most of the information I found was in academic journals in researchgate, etc..

The main idea is that if you got money to invest and are looking to start something it's very hard to find ideas on what invest/start unless you are familiarised with a particular sector. For instance, through my research I found economic feasibility reports on biodiesel plants, tomato processing plants, organic farms, solar power farms, etc.. Unless you are in the industry you wouldn't know how much investment do you need, what is the payback period, what employees do you need etc..

I feel that people are limited by their knowledge or what is out there (franchises) but there is so much opportunity in business with great returns.

So what I thought about is a website where you find 100+ economic feasibility studies on different business and stats about the sectors. It can be an eye opener for many people. It could also be a community based website, for instance if you've opened a micro-greens venture you could help fellow community members with their questions on how to start, etc..
