Came up with the Idea

During a vacation in Spain, I decided I wanted to work on a side project. My goal was to make $1 from something I sell online. I have a background in Telecommunications and computer networking, and how the internet works has always been fascinating to me. There are many products online for checking your IP address or proving IP geolocation API's, but they are either too spammy and based on ads or focused on bigger companies. The goal with IP parrot is to provide networking tools, education about computer networking and security to scratch my own itch and also provide paid APIs for IP Address and Whois information that are priced for the smaller business and websites.
