Hey guys,
I've been working on a concept for creating a product which more effectively allows early-stage startups to plan for funding rounds.
The product is a SaaS which allows startups to build and manage the key documents for a funding round (deck, financial model etc), and provide transparency around what investors look for at certain stages. E.g. Eligibility criteria for ABC Venture Capital at Seed Stage is xxx.....
As I've talked to more users I discovered that advisory connections for startups, particularly at the growth stage is a big pain point.
I could really relate to this from a previous company experience, so I decided to target my MVP in this direction. I have launched my landing page and started connecting people;
tiny.cc/ib44oz
I've had 40 advisors sign up, 50 startups and facilitated 5 paid calls (all super manual connections for now).
The issue I have is the SaaS platform targets pre Series A startups and the Marketplace targets post Series A startups.
I see real value in continuing to work towards both of these - my question is do you think I can develop these in tandem? Or is that a recipe for disaster...?
Thoughts?
