Can AI Actually Automate Trust? (HIPAA Compliance as a Startup Use Case)

Most startups avoid healthcare compliance — it’s expensive and slow.
I’m testing CompliAssistant, an AI tool that automates HIPAA tasks like policies, training logs, and risk assessments for small teams.

We’ve got a landing page + early waitlist:

Curious:

Would you trust AI for compliance in your own startup?

What would make you feel confident adopting it?

Thanks so much, really appreciate the kind words! 🙏
We're trying to remove as much of the cost and friction around HIPAA as possible — especially for small teams that want to move fast without compromising on compliance.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what you'd want to see in an AI compliance tool — anything specific that would make it a must-have for you?

I wouldn't. AI makes a lot of mistakes. Which models do you use?

Totally fair — compliance isn’t something you want to get wrong.

That’s why we’re building in safeguards like transparency, clear audit trails, and optional human review. It’s designed to give startups confidence without needing to be experts in HIPAA themselves.

Appreciate the feedback — out of curiosity, what would help you feel more confident using a tool like this?

Thank you for the explanation. It would be great to understand how it works, what's behind the system, to see if I can trust it. But I'm a developer, so maybe I'm just not your target audience. I mean, I care about technology a lot.

Totally makes sense — and honestly, devs like you are exactly the kind of people we want feedback from.

Right now, the core system uses GPT-4 with custom safeguards layered on top — including static rules, regulatory templates, and logic checks. Eventually, we plan to open up more about how it works under the hood and possibly even offer an API or developer mode.

Appreciate you raising the trust angle — it’s a big deal in compliance, and we want to earn that trust through transparency and control, not just promises.

If you're ever curious to take a look or help shape it with feedback, happy to share more behind the scenes!

            Sounds interesting, thanks.

Awesome — if anything specific sparks your interest or you'd like early access down the line (like an API or dev mode), just give me a shout. Would love to keep you in the loop.
