Folks - we built a product called Ooogle to figure out if ChatGPT can really kill google. It's OpenAI powered Google.

In my view, if ChatGPT beats Google that consistently, what's going to happen is Google adopting it as part of their regular search. As soon as that happens, the brand awareness of Google kills any potential competitor.

Can't say if it can replace Google. What makes Google, Google is the ability to know and sort the results based on their relevance. The whole SEO thing.
But I love ChatGPT for what it is.
Today while everyone is talking about where all it can go. I wondered what ChatGPT thinks makes us human. This is the response I got. It's better than how most humans will answer it. 🤖
Here is my opinion about that:
ChatGPT is a natural language processing tool designed to assist users in generating human-like text based on a given prompt. It is not a search engine like Google and does not have the capabilities or resources to compete with it.
Google is very powerful. It's going to take a lot of time to beat it, and it's not going to kill Google right now, but I'm looking forward to it.
chatGPT won't kill Google cause it always tells me, sorry I can't search the web.
It can answer very specific questions or solve riddles but not deliver results as Google.
And also keep in mind, do you really think that Google isn't working on AI, so if someone releases a AI SearchEngine I bet Google can easily counter that.
ChatGPT is not able to reply any question or conversation related to a recent event. And when I mean "recent" I mean even years ago.
ChatGPT is not able to reply about any person that is not ultra know by the whole world. For example, ask about a local politician and then do it on Google.
There are also a LOT of use cases that ChatGPT will never going to beat Google.
Still, ChatGPT is an awesome tool with a huge future.
What if Google also use ChatGPT for combining with their engine?
Google isn't going anywhere. The amount of data they currently have to implement their own AI is astounding, and they're going to do it if the demand is high.
