Can failed attempts stories provide more details?

From time to time, there are testimonies here in IH on how something failed and now they're trying something new.

I get people might be hesitant to include details of the new thing they're working on, but can they please include details of the failed one? At least was was it about?

For instance I've seen things like "Don't believe in XYZ strategy, I tried with my last company and got nowhere, instead try this old traditional method of ABC and now I'm making $_, MRR" but what was that thing?!! Maybe just include a single phrase like "I was creating a marketplace for YouTubers" or something along those those lines.
