Hey guys. After a few months of work, I'm pleased to give you guys a preview of the latest project I've been working on http://heydude.io/
In short, HeyDude is a customer announcement platform that helps drives conversion. I currently work 9-5 as a developer and had several websites at work that needed to make announcements to users so I decided to create my own.
I know there is already a lot of strong competition in this space but I found them to be either overpriced or have way too many features for what I needed.
I'd really appreciate it if you guys could take a look and give me your honest feedback on it. I'd like to know if it provides the value proposition well and if it gets across the massage of what the app does.
Also just any general feedback that anyone may have.
Hi.
The webpage could be made shorter so there is not much scrolling.
Because the notification alone is enough to tell The whole story
Hey Dude!
... I feel like you are going to get that alot :)
Congrats on getting this up. I like the spacing in the design it helps make it easy to read through.
For me it wasn't super clear immediately that this was customer announcements, I think because it looks like drip/intercom -> mind assumed it was another messenger.
This might not be a problem for your target market if they aren't used to in-page messengers. But I would ask if there is a way to make the UI more distinct to help you stand out from them/make it seem more like an announcement.
Once i realized it was announcements it made way more sense.
Logo: looks like slite/others I have seen -> I would recommend doing something unique to help you stand out.
Keep it up!
Hi Aaron, this is my quick reaction:
Would love to take a look at the next iteration too! Keep moving forward :)
For me the value proposition is very clear!
Some remarks on the landing page design: I love how simple it is however there are a few things I noticed. The "The perfect tool for sales & marketing!" section is missing a right half on the desktop view. Also in general I feel the elements are floating around a lot. Try to give some visual seperation like clear lines or colored backgrounds.
Like the idea, keep it up!
