Can I Get Some Feedback on My Screencap?

I'm relatively new to the screencap ("screen capture" and "screen cast" are also words I've used... is there a "right" one?!) scene and I'm looking to take my production to the "next level" — the thing is... I'm not entirely sure what the "next level" really is!

🤣

I recently captured myself building a landing page from (almost) scratch and I'm using just Screenflow 9.0 for macOS. I'm not doing anything fancy outside of adding some text and editing the audio slightly to remove any "background noise".

I'd love any feedback on what you see as well as any suggestions on how to "do this" better, if that makes sense.

Thanks!

Screen caps seems good to me! Camera and lighting look great. I just quickly scrubbed through the video and maybe some more explanation could help. 1 hour is a long time for a video too lol. Maybe fastforward the less important bits while highlighting certain sections.

By the way, how'd you land so many subs?? 75k is a ton!

I'm not super experienced in this either but I've seen many developers do videos on Loom

Loom is great for capturing quick videos and screencasts. Makes it super easy to share with others too. I think @8bit enjoys the craft of video creation too and putting the extra effort in with post production etc.. when doing something like this, often results in higher quality in the end product. I guess it's about weighing up the speed of sharing with Loom vs crafting a more bespoke video like @8bit does.

i think loom is great for quick versions of this. but, gotta add sound!

      kk. this is good feedback.

was it not "interesting" or "useful" to see me struggle through some of the parts (i mean, the entire time?! lol)?
