Hey everybody,
I'm really excited to be part of this community! (listening to the podcast as I type this). I've got a question and I would really appreciate your advice and tips:
I'm building a podcast editing service based in Mexico and I got stuck at the "create a payment method" part. I'm thinking of using versoly or Landen for my landing page and Stripe to process payments.
My question is, how can I just create a "pay form" or "pay button" using Stripe? I thought I could just log into Stripe "create" a new product and link that to the "Pay now" button on my website; but all I could find was code or an API(?) that I frankly don't understand.
I hope I'm clear since English is not my first language.
I just came across this. Shoot me a message when you are up and running or if you still need some help, I'd be up for testing this.
Hey Hector, just saw this. its up actually, you can find it on www.vozli.co
I still have the editing service pricing but if you have a podcast and want a free trial, let me know, it'd help to figure out some processes.
If you just want a simple pay button, maybe Gumroad is easier
Thanks Jason! Gumroad was my first option but it doesnt support mexican pesos, thanks for tip, I hope they'll add the option soon.
Ah ok I seee.
Another option is Wirize. I use it to quickly create payment links (which you can add to any button). It's runs on Stripe but makes creating a payment link so much easier.

Yes, you don't have to have a backend for simple payments. I started Yomi.ai with a simple pay-what-you-want model where I had no backend initially. After a month, that changed though and with the subscription-model, I have some complicated backend logic deployed.
Stripe Checkout is what you may want to use. It requires no backend.
Hey @reader, thanks for your help. It's been useful, I'll definitely check Stripe Checkout. I really like yomi.ai btw, really cool way to learn!
