Can I use AWS in the name of my project?
Hello guys,
I'm working on a project that I called AWS Station and I'm worried about something, can I have a problem with Amazon if I use AWS on my project name?
I also have the domain https://awsstation.com
Maybe if I have a problem with Amazon related to this it is a good sign for the project ;).
What do you think about this?

You might be okay legally but it's definitely not smart. If you get bigger you're bound to piss some people off. Website visitors may think you're an official AWS service when you're not.

If you decide to go with that domain, atleast put a visible text on your homepage that your product is not from Amazon and you are not affiliated. Just to be safe-side that Amazon wont drag you to court :)
"AWS" is a registered trademark of Amazon Technologies, Inc. (ie Amazon) in multiple jurisdictions globally. Amazon does grant a limited license to use their marks which you can find in their Trademark Guidelines, which can be found here.
I would read all sections of the Trademark Guidelines very carefully, however, I would pay particular attention to points 3, 9, 11, and 15 specifically to make sure I was a) permitted to use the marks and b) using them in an acceptable way.

Seems like #11 in https://aws.amazon.com/trademark-guidelines/ says no AWS in domain @vgmartinez
"11. No Combination. You may not hyphenate, combine or abbreviate the AWS Marks. You shall not incorporate the AWS Marks into the name of your organization, or your services, products, trademark or logos. The foregoing prohibition includes the use of the AWS Marks in the name of any application, service or product or in a URL to the left of the top-level domain name (e.g., ”.com”, ”.net”, ”.uk”, etc.). For example, URLs such as “alexaaa.mydomain.com”, “mymechanicalturk.net” or “EC2plus2.com” are expressly prohibited."
They would probably not notice unless you be annoying and they can send DMCA regardless of where you host...
