Can someone help me in my research on our new analytics tool?

So my story is as follows: we've been working on a product developing for raising a website conversion rate for more than a year. And we realized that it's rather expensive to have detailed analytics and you have to have several products installed.

That's why we launched a brand new feature to allow SaaS companies to track conversions on every step of the funnel and easily find bottlenecks.
But we really need to have an expert look on that.

So I am wondering if anyone can help with it - share your experience about the products you used to use to report on conversions and also take a look at our MVP to share some feedback.

Helen, I'm not exactly sure what you need, but I have an analytics background. Are you asking about tools I've used that help report on conversions? Or help improve conversions?

Hey Matthew. Yes, the question is about products you use to report on conversions and keep track of your actions. Can you share some experience on this question?

Sure. I'd say there are two primary ways I've done this...

        1. 3rd party tools like google analytics, test and target, and a few others. In this case, we would create goals, etc. to track different conversions on different steps. These are good products, and are reliable, but sometimes have a learning curve, and are tough to manipulate detailed data if you need to. They usually have set views of the data, and that's it.
        2. Query data from my companies own database. If we track sign ups, payments, product engagement, pull that raw data with SQL, manipulate the query so we can then do aggregations (How many in the sign ups? How many engaged? How many Purchased? etc?).

I'm happy to play with the MVP...that may help me give you a better perspective.
