Can someone take a minute to critique my business concept?
I emailed a youtuber I've been watching for years and, after waiting a couple of weeks, got a reply of around 5 words with no period. I realized these people probably get a ton of emails and are just too busy to reply to everyone. I thought that if they could monetize their emails they would priorities those who paid and give more thoughtful replies to paid emails.
I guess I am struggling to see what the difference is between them turning their feedback into videos on their channel if it is something really applicable or why they would opt for email versus something like Cameo. I feel like if they wanted to reach out their time would be better spent in a more popular format that is easier for them to produce with their skillet.
I like it...If I was an important person I would definitely use it. Target also onlyfans creators. This can be an additional source of income for them.
I like this idea, someone else already mentioned Cameo and this is like Cameo but over email.
I think I heared a lot of these ideas start 5/10 years ago
There is one spam filter like that charges like a 1$ to pass the gate (might be configurable)
And some that require an extra step, most commonly replay to the "prove your Human email" in some way, clicking maybe... as mass mailing just commonly main with no-replay emails
I know ppl use the last one, not sure any of the charging types lasted unless in some specific niches
There are other sites that people sell their time like a meeting and there you might commonly get higher paid professionals
Also I got a few unsolicited offers for a paid call by investor research, so you can also offer
This is a youtuber I used to watch tons, that just setup a paid fiverr account and does paid calls... https://www.fiverr.com/groworganic/be-your-organic-gardening-coach-for-10-minutes
So in a way this all exists, and yet the common thought, one system that's kinda email attached didn't get much momentom
Possibly there is still a place for a platform, but the boundeling/details are important I guess  like I don't think in should be "per email"...
Maybe if it's like a paypal or something, where you can "send a paid time request", even if you want just a couple of minutes for an email responce... the idea is that you let either side setup/suggest, that might give you some marketing advantage
It's an interesting idea, Scott. As I was thinking about it, I came up with a couple of questions:
The idea sounds ok and there already exist paid chat sites out there like premium.chat which kind of verifies that the idea is somewhat viable. Not sure what the market potential is for it exactly, but it seems like a bit of an offshoot from some of the paid social platforms out there like onlyfans or pocketstars that provide paid chat as one of the options for monetization on there.

Hey anikilic thanks a lot for your reply.
Whether they are too busy to reply or not, you try emailing someone with 500k subs and see if they reply.
Yes if you support someone using superchat you do get recognition but some people just want individual communication with an influencer.
The main reason I posted this on indiehacker was to see if someone had an idea to change a particlular feature. You're right about the pricing. I might change it.
I enjoyed reading your comment thanks again.

If you check the youtuber's about page there is a contact email there. That is how he gets their email
