Can we Launch Life time deals on Product Hunt? Yes or no?

Is it good idea to launch life time deal on Product Hunt directly by having a LTD plan configured as one of the paid plans or the only plan on your product & sell it for limited time instead of launching it on appsumo & other similar sites?

What do you think? Has anyone done that before?
