Can you help me tune my landing page?

Hey everyone,

I have been working on my landing page quite a bit (https://asyncgo.com), and some of the feedback I have received in the past was:

  • Too wordy, so I have trimmed it down a lot
  • No video makes it hard to understand, so I added one
  • Calculator is cool, I should feature it more - so I moved it up
  • Missing social proof, so I added a couple quotes

The app itself is a collaboration tool meant to help teams do async well. People empathize with the problems we are solving pretty well (Zoom/Slack fatigue, poor information flow) but a lot of companies haven’t done async before so there is an education component.

With the above feedback integrated, is there more I should do in your opinion?

    • Your cookies notification is huuuuge
    • Your landing page is super busy. There's a youtube video and a hero with a CTA and then 4 different dot points and then a calculator, all above the fold on desktop.
    • Most importantly, at a quick glance I can't tell what the hell this site is about. "Better results with fewer meetings" -> is this a sales tool, a calendaring tool, productivity software, project management software... ?
    • Did you record that video inside an airplane hangar? That echo is horrible. My favourite part was when you thumped your mechanical keyboard constantly and broke my eardrums.
    • "You can also achieve an outcome by THUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMPTHUMP"
    • Why is 25% of your video just talking over your logo? Why is the rest of it unreadable because it's only taking up 1/5th of my screen space? Give it its own landing page section so that it goes full width.
    • This is 100% free? Until I scroll down. You need a pricing link at the top.
    • As a name, AsyncGo is super technical. I get the deriviation, but your ideal customer profile probably won't. The first five words of every project manager I've ever met are "I'm not that technical"
    • The idea seems to be that this will replace meetings... I think this will replace massive e-mail chains where nothing gets decided. I'd argue Jira/etc. already do this... or should when used properly. Since they don't, what does your platform do differently?
    • Consider rebranding this as "Waiting on..." and then every e-mail notification will start with "Waiting on Jim, Sam so we can progress Project X"
    • Sign up for free takes me to a completely different subdomain. And then I have to sign in with one of a few different apps, none of which have trust logos.
    • In the app example if I can't say "this project is stalled because Jim won't approve making the button blue", then this is no use to me. I need the ability to assign people to approve topics and for it to be highlighted that we're waiting on a key person.
    • I'm on AsyncGo.com already, why does the video on that page tell me to go to ASyncGo.comTHUMPTHUMPTHUMP if I'm interested?
    • Your hero and sub-hero aren't really measurable. What's a 'result'. I think you're specifically targeting decision-making activities with regards to tech projects. "Fewer meetings, more decisions" might then make more sense, or "Rapid, Trackable Decision Making". But, I'd find some people who are experiencing the problem you're trying to solve, and get the words they use to describe it.

Ha, thanks for all the good feedback. I will see what I can do to improve it.

    • The video should be embedded in the page
    • The copy both in the page and video I think needs work due it might be fine for an MVP
"Better results, better decisions, better outcomes" you put nothing to back up any of these claims as far as I can see
    • The page needs a color schema/design it looks like it's mostly black, white, 16 bit green, and blue
    • "Meetings are expensive" block takes up more than a full screen. Do you feel the image is contributing anything there? why not just put a nice calculator
ex: https://www.beenote.io/en/calculate-cost-meetings-with-meeting-cost-calculator/ The sliders make it much better than just text input IMHO also their calc image is actually related due the setup is huge in size for your page

Thanks so much for the tips! I will take a look to see what I can improve.
