Can you kindly help to review my landing page?

Hello awesome people

We just finished working on a new landing page https://mobilzer.com/en/
We would love any feedback on it if you got time :D

Looks good at first sight. It is directly clear what your service is.

Performance: your site is slow, and takes long to load. You can lose potential customers here.

Visuals: Nice! I like this, but the visuals are shown in Arab or something to me with RTL. To me, as someone from European origin, this is a little confusing.

The testimonials: the color of the text is red. To me, this doesn't feel nice. I associate this often with an error, but maybe that's just me personal.

Pricing: everything is discounted. I think that discounting everything is not that great. What kind of users do you want, people always seeking for the cheapest and discounts for everything? Or people who want a good products where the price is less relevant? I want the second, but I think this is just a personal preference on how to do this.

Pricing 2: Make one package "recommended", I like that since the focus will be more drawn to just 1 package instead of 3. Focus on less elements is always better to me in terms of UX.

Pricing 3: There is a start free, but not at the pricing section. I went to the pricing section without noticing the button in the banner, and thought there was no (free) trial. I am typically a user who would want to pay for a product, but want to try it first - unless it is a well-known product of a big publisher (like Adobe for example).

Overall: Looks nice, my feedback is just finishing touches I think. Be sure you track behaviour of your visitors with analytics software, so you can further optimise data-driven.

    Good luck!!!

Sorry, I missed this comment somehow @JustinFransen

The page design is great! the animated explanation just made it easy to get the idea and the features request is an excellent idea, well done. Here are few things to consider:

        • Consider replacing this "The extension to your calendar app" in your header with something more pointed towards what your core solution is "Become aware of how you spent your time." the reason is that this header will be the most seen section of your entire page, and you want to get as many ppl interested to scroll as possible.

        • it is unclear what does "Quickly create invoices" means, it actually got me a little bit confused about the purpose of this tool, is it a time organizer, or a tool like Clockify to record work for freelancers! both are great tools but very different audiences, you probably need to focus on one to get results.

        • there is a section where you are trying to explain that Segro is not a stand-alone calendar app, I know you want to assure clients that this will not replace their calendar apps, and you probably need to say just that and maybe not mentioning the whole extension thing as this is a little cryptic.

        • Consider adding something around privacy and data security, If I would ever want to get an app/extension access to my meetings I would triple check how they will use that data. Calendars are very private to most people.

All the best, the product looks promising.

Thank you very much for taking the time for this useful feedback!
You hit some really good points here! I am still trying to figure out what works best, but it is so useful to hear that is unclear/needs improvement from your point of view!
Thanks again. I wish you all the best with Mobilzer!

Thank you so much! This is really great feedback.

Pricing: everything is discounted. I think that discounting everything is not that great.

You are so right, and I do like your narrative on bringing users who value the service πŸ™Œ

Pricing 2: Make one package "recommended"

      Great advice πŸ‘

And everything else you said makes total sense to us, thanks πŸ™

Happy to help, wish you all the best with the progress!

I'll give you some feedback (I'm a high value designer and work with YC companies).

Anyway, lets start from the hero section. Visual hierarchy is clear, but the text-image overlay doesn't work too well. I can see you have used two fonts, but neither of them are applicable for your use case. Poppins should be restricted to only headings, and you should get rid of roboto all together. The buttons and content allover is too big for a decent visual appeal, and the text weight is not too consistent.

Moving on to graphic presentation and illustration, the product is not animated so its hard for users to see how this thing works. Also, you should try to move from product screenshots to a custom designed app overview that follows a strict color scheme. Perhaps you should try to evolve on the blue colors you have going on, and get rid of the orange all together.

I usually charge for design audits, so I'm not going to go too deep into this thing but here is a list of things you should keep in mind for the next release of the landing page:

    1. Content size
    2. Product Walkthrough
    3. Visual Hierarchy
    4. Color Scheme

Try to use a Webflow Template for something like this, and take some inspiration from Dribbble. Later you could move to an agency or a freelancer. Anyway, great attempt and I'm excited to see what you do next with this!

Thank you so much for the feedback πŸ‘

It was really tricky to find a template that looks good + targeting saas + supports RTL

But in all honesty, we did not hire any designer due to limited budget, I admit the design aspect and probably the information architecture on my website is all over the place, I was hoping that screenshots would make things more digestible, but you are right that we probably need something more animated.

  3. 2

I think it's great and makes sense. I would put the testimonials much higher

  4. 2

Very nice looking site but some parts of the landing page were slow to load!

  5. 2

You need a hamburger menu on mobile version for better usability.

    1. 1

Thanks, @djurdjevac for the feedback, so you can't see the hamburger menu? we have it for mobile, but it seems like your device is not showing it. Do you mind sharing your device make/model and which browser you used?

      1. 2

My bad, I tested in Chrome dev tools., but I didn't refresh. I expected to be responsive. Now I see it, sorry for confusion man.

  6. 2

    Congrats on your project.
    Here's some update:

    • Change The Logo
    • Use Static Site Generator instead of WordPress
    • Compress your images Tiny Png
    1. 1

      Thanks πŸ™Œ

I would love to change the logo, we will do that very soon.
and thanks for all the other tips πŸ‘

  7. 2

I am not a fan of the logo, but the main issue I have is that I am not sure how capable your builder is. Does it only create a wrapper for a website or is it something else? How can I make an instant app where you don't even know what features I have for it?

    1. 1

Amazing question, but before answering you let me first say that we decided to not explain any technical details in the landing page, our main audience is non-digital businesses who would never care about how it is done, but they simply want to see an App as the end result.

Now to answer your question, our platform has 2 main capabilities :
1- we have a builder that allow you to customise a theme, add features, and publish a web app (without visual building blocks)
2- we have an engine that takes the website configurations and build/publish an app to the app store.

I will try to add more screenshots and/or animated visuals to explain what our builder is capable of doing.

  8. 2

Congrats on the site and the business. Wishing you all the success.

    1. The above the fold content is clear.
    2. Perhaps think about including a video of how the product works.
    3. On the pricing, 'Promo' text is not available for the USA.
    4. The clients section needs to be reworked. Basically you are showing similar screens of different apps. I would suggest you show the other screens as well but most importantly demonstrate what is possible with Mobilzer.

    All the best!

    1. 1

Thanks for the great feedback πŸš€
Great ideas, especially adding different screens sounds great πŸ‘πŸ»

  9. 2

Two minor pieces of feedback are:

    1. Load time appears to be too high
    2. Consider stating prices in USD instead of SAR - I don't even know what a SAR is let alone how much it's worth. It makes me think the product isn't meant for my market.
    1. 2

Yes SAR was not clear to me too. USD or EUR.

  10. 2

I'm on a 4g connection, but it is taking forever to load. At least 10s before I could see anything.

Make sure to optimize page load time.

  11. 1

One thing I noticed was that it took the images very long time to load. I had at least 7 seconds in which I saw some text with large white gaps.
For a site that wants to build my mobile app this is concerning.

Regarding the product - you start with the themes and logo, but I don't understand what I can build with it. I'd like to see screenshot of how I can build one of my app's screens.

    1. 1

      Thanks for the feedback πŸ™Œ

It seems like the slow loading is a problem many faced in this thread, we will work on it. I just want to note that the landing page is completely separate than our platform, but point taken that if the front is performing poorly then this looks bad to potiontial prospects.

  12. 1

I quite like it. It's rather minimalist and clean, and it's pretty clear what it does.
    Now some suggestions:

    • As a visitor, very early on I would like to know for what platform(s) I will get to create a mobile app. You can add logos of Google Play and/or iTunes to clarify that.
    • I don't see why the "English" link should exist on the English page. You'd want to have the "Arabic" button for the English page and vice versa.
    • How do I contact you? If I don't find it within seconds, I'm out.
    • The screenshots are not very helpful since they are so small. I would suggest to zoom in and show the part that is relevant to the visitor.
    • I don't find the testimonials very credible, since I don't see names of the people saying those things. To add more credibility to the testimonials, hyperlink the logos, so that I can visit those companies.
    • The actual pricing section seems to be separated from the buttons above it (Canada, Monthly, etc). Bringing them closer together and giving them all the same borders or same background colour will help
    • If I were an American, I would be unhappy that the price for Canadians is lower than what I would have to pay. Unless Canadians won't pay in CAD but in USD, and in that case it is very unclear.
    • Why is there a Worldwide option for pricing, while it's exactly the same as Canada and US? My suggestion would be to instead of countries, set a currency. Even better, only put USD and charge the same for all countries to avoid confusion.
    • Add a question mark that shows more details when hovered over. For example I have no idea what "Shipping" means, or what you mean by "Mobile-web App."
    • Last point on pricing, it's unclear whether it's monthly, yearly, one-off, or ..? And why is there a "promo" text there?
    • Why are your terms and conditions in Arabic? Are you certain you want to serve international clients? Often times wanting to serve everyone results in not serving any.
    • I like the idea of having an FAQ, but I'm not sure about the questions: "Can I edit my information?" well, I don't know of a single place where the answer to this might be a "no."
    • I would change "Our clients" to "Our portfolio" or even better "Some apps created by Mobilzer"
    • I would like to see a better separation between each section of the website.

I hope that you find this feedback helpful!

    1. 1

This is simply fantastic, thank you so much for this great feedback πŸ™πŸ‘

We will be acting on all the points you mentioned, I will be thinking about the pricing, I think we will need to do a completely separate landing page for Saudi so that we can have the prices in Saudi Riyal, this is critical to the success of our business in Saudi and it is what the consumers there expect, but other than the pricing complication, all else is true and clear.

      Thanks again.

      1. 2

        You're welcome
You can always use scripts to detect Saudi IPs and send them to a separate page. You can also do A/B testing as they may respond better to an international product/pricing. Good luck.
