Thank you guys so much!

Hey there! I don't think the average person is familiar with the term " meal prep kitchens" therefor the first sentence there is basically meaningless. Now the second sentence is more appealing and easy-to-understand. However, I'm not going to sign up for emails from someone who only put in the effort to write a headline and one sentence. ESPECIALLY, when there are so many well-established meal-delivery services like Blue Apron, Hello Resh, and Freshly.

I would definitely need to know how you are different in a really compelling way.

Do you source all your ingredients locally? Do you aggregate recipes? What is different? What is the benefit.

If you can answer those questions quickly and succinctly, you'll be heading in a better direction :)

Michael, that is incredibly helpful feedback!
Rainbow is different from the meal delivery services you mentioned in the following ways:

      1. It does not make ready-to-eat meals like Freshly or prepare ingredient boxes like Blue Apron. Rather, it is a marketplace that connects potential customers with "meal prep kitchens".
Meal prep kitchens are a category of food vendor that delivers multiple ready-to-eat meals to you for the week. Freshly is a prime example of this category.

      2. Since Rainbow is a marketplace, it gives customers the freedom to switch from vendor to vendor easily without needing to subscribe and tie to one specific meal vendor.

Meal preps a.k.a. ready-to-eat meals are an ideal solution to people with busy schedules that also want to take advantage of convenient and nutritious meals.

I'll make sure to take the feedback and rework the landing page. Really appreciate it!

Thanks. Even though it isn't as slick as landing page copy, what you've written above, it's far more informative than the landing page as it is now.

I don't know what your research shows, but I really don't think most people know what a meal-prep kitchen is who aren't in the industry.

Here is an example of some copy that exposes readers to the pain they have, shows them there is a better way — Rainbow — and tells them how they can stay up-to-date:

"You’re a busy person. You’ve got enough on your plate with work, pets, kids, and social obligations without the added stress grocery shopping and cooking. Wouldn’t you rather have a few minutes to relax? How great would it be to escape the everyday stress of whipping up a meal when all you want to do is kick back?

You could subscribe to one of those ingredient box services and be free of grocery shopping, but cooking is the biggest hassle anyway. You could even subscribe to a ready-to-eat box service like Freshly, but then you’d be restricted to the same boring meals week in and week out.

What if you could eliminate the stress of cooking AND add an insane amount of variety to your diet? what if you could experience food from multiple services WITHOUT changing subscriptions? If you’re looking for the easiest way to access tons of recipes from top food vendors and have them delivered to your door ready-to-eat, then you’re looking for Rainbow.

Rainbow is a marketplace for ready-to-eat food vendors who will send fresh meals directly to your front step. You’ll never get bored with the food — there are so many services to peruse. Put down your spatula, throw those food boxes in the recycling bin, and join Rainbow.

Sign up for our list and get updated on our progress."

Oh man, this is amazing stuff. Thank you so much, Michael!

Yeah, I do not know what a "meal prep kitchen" is either.

Also, has does "local" factor in?

      1. 1

Mike, good point. Definitely need to translate meal prep kitchen into more understandable terms.

Local refers to all the meal preps kitchens around your location that's able to deliver to you.

  2. 2

Meal prep subscription. I.E. Subscribe and get a set number of meals delivered for the coming week.

For me personally, I'd want more info before giving out my email.

    Hope that helps,

    1. 1

Yeah seems like the lack of information is a problem so far.
      Thanks Simon!

I would say it’s a meal delivery service focused on healthy choices. But there are still unanswered questions. Is it a subscription or just a delivery service like doordash or grub hub? What makes this different?

Based on the headline I also don’t know if I would bother to read the copy if I landed here as a consumer rather than a member of this community. It’s too generic.

      Hey Sean, good question.
Subscription could potentially become a feature in the future, but for now Rainbow is more on the delivery service side.
The main difference is that Rainbow is a marketplace focused on "meal prep" vendors. They deliver a set of meals to you every week rather than the on-demand delivery like doordash or grubhub you mentioned

Seems like maybe you get local restaurants or a cafeteria to make meals and then someone else delivers them?

  5. 1

Is it something like Delivery Hero, Deliveroo, Lieferando? Getting meals from restaurants directly to your door?

    1. 1

It is similar to some extent. However, the operational model of these restaurants are different from traditional on-demand delivery restaurants.

  6. 1

I think you need to emphasize "LOCAL" to set yourself a part from other food delivery services. Also, what makes your food "healthy?" Would want to know that if I landed on your page.

FYI, wait lists only work if you get something for signing up. Maybe a discount or free meal?

    1. 1

Hi Patrice, good point on the incentives. Will for sure tweak the wording.

Since Rainbow is a marketplace for meal prep kitchens and most of these meal prep kitchens focues on "healthy" meals, that's where the "healthy" comes from :)

Helathy meals delivered directly to your door.

You should post your own thread. This thread is for Kevin.

        Thanks for looking out Patrice!

        Not a problem, Chance.
Thank you for the feedback. I've gone ahead and left some comments for you idea :)
        Good luck!

I was asking for reciprocity. I offered my review and was asking if he could do likewise for mine. I don't see anything wrong with that.
