I think there might be value in AI design tools that are experts in one specific aspect of UI/UX design - that humans could leverage to improve their output. For example, focusing on the details of performing user testing/research, persona creation, or recognizing cultural/psychological design cues. A truly useful AI tool would have legs. But that's the rub, it has to be a truly useful tool.
For sure. Also, AI is still a tool, and you need to know how to use it.
Interesting angle — breaking down what AI can vs can’t do in UX/UI design is super relevant right now, especially with so many founders overestimating automation. It’s a good reminder that tools can assist, but real product thinking and user empathy still come from designers.
