Cannot Handle The SEO/Speed Hurdles With Bubble Anymore

I can no longer handle the SEO and speed hurdles with Bubble.io anymore. I am now transferring everything Front End to Webflow and everything back end is going to stay with Bubble for now.

The only reason I stay with Bubble and think it is superior to Webflow is the data-driven capabilities of it. I am thinking of just building a data-driven no-code database and user authentication sweet for Webflow myself because Bubbles speed and SEO is really starting to become a hurdle.

Does anyone have experience using Bubble as a backend and Webflow as a front end? Any speed enhancements? I tested the speed on Google SpeedInsights and for Bubble sites with nothing at all on the screen you rank in the '30s for desktop and 10's for mobile. With Webflow, you are I the 90's for both from the gecko. Goes to show the speed improvements with Webflow.

I would love to hear more of your struggles with Bubble.

But before, to answer your question, I’ve been keeping an eye on this little project: https://www.cloudcanal.io/
    I’ve not used it though.

I am a huge fan of Bubble ( I have been featured by the, twice). Love it. It is just the speed and SEO issues. It is not very good for SEO and that is because of many reasons with the biggest one being speed. Just the way they build your script files it seems to slow down the page instantly (even with zero elements on the page). I have s cloudcanal.io account! Trying to figure it out but there docs page and videos are down so.

My guess is the Bubble apps aren't optimised for speed, they most likely have to call the database first and that is very slow.

Webflow have that as well if you start using collections etc (but they do cache pages)

Yeah, definitely seems that way. Webflow is much faster both by visuals and by using speed readers (Google Page Speed Checker). For comparison sake, Bubble with nothing on the page (blank) gets you a 30's score with desktop and 10's with mobile.

Do the same with Webflow you get a 70 for mobile and 90's for desktop.
