Want to share these few thoughts that came to me over the last couple of days:
I started with a pay-as-you-go model and stuck with it for many months. It attracts a certain type of customer, though - customers who don’t need high volume, want to save money, or only use my product occasionally.
Although subscription plans also have churn, they still provide more predictability. I can now upgrade servers or invest more in marketing.
I will do everything I can to keep my subscribed customers with WebcrawlerAPI.
And of course: consistency. I just don’t understand how “12 products in 12 months” could work. I work on the same project day after day - improving quality, user experience, adding features, and fixing bugs. The product slowly takes shape, but what can really be built in such a short period of time?
To be honest, I can believe it. I put too much effort into this for it not to happen sooner or later. http://WebcrawlerAPI.com is good enough. I have the numbers to prove it, and I’m using it myself every day with my agents. So yeah, this is something I believe customers could use.
Happy to see the hard work is finally paying off! Crawling/scraping is one of the hottest topics rn, so I'm sure you'll soon grow even stronger!
