Care to tear down my copywriting landing page?

Hey guys!

Would love your brutally honest feedback on my freelance copywriting landing page:

https://www.gocopytech.com/

  • is the value crystal clear?
  • am I overdoing the testimonials?
  • how well does it hold your attention?
  • how niche is too niche?

Looking good Brooks. Go customer research!

    Hi Brooks,

I'm planning to start working as a freelance SaaS copywriter next year and I would kill for those testimonials! However, I would say they're wordier than they need to be.

Four testimonials is a strong stance already, I think you can afford to trim them down so it's easier for the reader to skim. It would all flow better if they were all similar length to the Seema Rizvi quote.

Design-wise I like that it has a tech vibe. It'll appeal to tech companies, without isolating those without a tech background.

I'm not sure if this is beyond the scope of this activity, but your 'videos' button becomes a 'blog' button on every other page. Is this deliberate?

    I hope this has helped

    Jon

ps. If you ever find yourself overworked or understaffed, feel free to chuck some business my way...

Hi Jon @WildcardCopy thank you so much for your feedback! I've been thinking the testimonials might be a little overwhelming and could possibly be dialed back - good to have that confirmed objectively.

And yeah, I'm having the blog built out right now, so it's a little buggy at the moment (always a work in progress, lol).

Also, if you're trying to get into SaaS copywriting, let's chat! I've been at this for years, so I'd be happy to give you some pointers on finding good clients and starting to build up your recurring leads systems! Feel free to hit me back and we can talk.

      Cheers,
      Brooks

Hi Brooks, I emailed a few days ago from jon@test-42.com. This isn't me chasing you, I just realised that it may have gone to junk or been ignored considering test-42 gives very little indication to who it was.
